Hyderabad, Dec 20 (UNI) The Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar adjourned the house till Saturday after the passage of the Bhubarathi Bill.

The Bill replaced the Dharani portal.

Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, who introduced the bill, criticised the Dharani portal and the 2020 Revenue Act implemented by the previous regime, alleging that they had caused distress to thousands of landowners.

He also accused the BRS MLAs of attempting to block the bill, stating that despite being aware of numerous errors in the Dharani portal, former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao failed to address them for the benefit of the people.
